Thomas Bilsland, an Ibiza party boss who has risen through the ranks of the Lyons gang, is looking for a driver in Glasgow to deliver goods for "£20 a drop," offering £1,000 a week.
Last month, a source told the Record that Bilsland is now one of the leading members of the mob and was promoted following the arrests of Steven Lyons and several members of his gang earlier this year.
Luxury lifestyle and recruitment drive
Bilsland, 39, lives in Ibiza for at least six months every year, mingling with high-profile DJs and supplying holidaymakers with 'party essentials.' However, he has been living in Marbella on the Costa Del Sol over the last few weeks after the party season ended on the Balearic Island.
He posted an image on social media on Tuesday looking for drivers in Glasgow and offered anyone interested the chance to earn £1,000 a week. It read: "Glasgow driver wanted, day and nights. We can come and go with days and times. Its six hour shifts. £20 a drop, do four shifts and you will definitely clear a grand. Going to be busy over Christmas. DM me for informtion. There's a car there to use as well."
He has shared a series of pictures on his social media in recent weeks, showing off his luxury lifestyle in Marbella, including one where he is posing with a pal at the harbour in Puerto Banus.
Connections to the Lyons family
The harbour is only a few minutes walk away from the Golden Tarts salon where Steven Lyons' wife, Amanda, worked as a makeup artist before the pair moved to Dubai in 2019. We reported earlier this year how the gangster's moll had a number of celebrity clients and worked under the Tartan Tart alias. Amanda, who was arrested in Dubai earlier this year, was regularly pictured at the salon alongside TOWIE stars like James 'Arg' Argent and Chloe Simms.
A gangland source previously explained to the Record how Bilsland started to hang around with slain gangster Ross Monaghan in Marbella five years ago and eventually became a member of the Lyons criminal fraternity. He was once a member of the rival Daniel clan but was attacked with blades by four masked Lyons enforcers in 2017. Bilsland didn't feel like he was properly backed up after this and that led to him deciding to switch camps.
Rise through the hierarchy
The source said the Lyons mob were happy to bring him into their crew due to the money he was making in Ibiza. He said: "Bilsland basically lives over in Ibiza for a good part of the year and rakes in an absolute packet on the party circuit so he was happily welcomed into the fold. He started visiting Steven in Dubai regularly and earned his trust and is now part of his inner circle. Steven even invited him over to the desert to bring in the new year with him and his family last year. Ross Monaghan and Eddie Lyons being murdered in Spain and the arrests this year left the Lyons short on men and enabled Bilsland to move swiftly up the hierarchy."
