Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) confirmed that eight fire engines and an aerial ladder platform were mobilized to the scene at 4.46pm on Sunday. Crews from Lancashire, Greater Manchester, and Cheshire fire and rescue services worked together to bring the fire under control. A GMFRS spokesperson stated: “The fire was involving a large amount of pallets and two vehicles. Firefighters were on the scene for approximately 19 hours.”
