Detectives in Warrington have released CCTV images of two masked men who forced their way into a Lloyds bank and stole cash before fleeing on a red motorbike. The robbery occurred at the Horsemarket Street branch at around 3:25 am on Monday, July 6.
Details of the Incident
According to Cheshire Police, two unknown men wearing balaclavas forced entry into the bank and stole approximately £500 in cash. They then escaped on a red motorbike, travelling towards Winwick Street in the direction of the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
Police Appeal
In a statement on Wednesday, Detective Constable Vicky Hancox of Warrington CID said: “Enquiries in relation to this incident are ongoing and we’re committed to doing all we can to trace the people responsible. As part of our investigation, we’re keen to hear from anyone who was in the area and believes they may have witnessed the incident. The same goes for anyone with any video footage of suspects arriving at or fleeing the scene on the red motorcycle.”
