British adult star Lauren Alexis says she has spent around £250,000 on personal security after repeated stalking and a series of robberies and break-ins. The social media influencer, who joined a popular adult content platform in 2020, says she earns six figures a month from her X-rated content.
Behind the designer handbags and millions of views, Lauren has dealt with stalkers, people turning up at her home, men waiting outside venues, and a string of terrifying robberies across the UK and abroad. At one point, she hired close protection even for going for dinner or drinks with friends.
Stalker at the penthouse
One of the most frightening incidents happened while Lauren was living in a penthouse in Essex. A man approached the building's concierge carrying a photograph of her and asked whether she lived there. The employee allegedly confirmed she was a resident and lived in the top-floor penthouse.
Later, in the early hours, the stranger appeared at the building. "He came, I'm assuming, at like one or two in the morning, and he was ringing the intercom just saying my name constantly. It was so creepy," she recalled. Lauren's manager answered and the man said, "I know who lives here and I'm going to wait for her." Lauren moved out soon afterwards.
Close protection becomes routine
After leaving a London nightclub following an event, another man was waiting outside. "He was just like, 'Oh, I knew you were here. I've been waiting for you.' It was really weird," she said. A security guard then urged her to take protection more seriously, telling her, "You should have someone with you. You are a small, petite young girl. You shouldn't be leaving these places without somebody having your back."
From then on, close protection became an ordinary part of her life. "We've had so many situations where people, when I've been at parties or a club or abroad, have tried coming over to me or tried to grab me or touch me," she said. "I always have someone with me. They might not be stood right by my side, but I've always got him there."
Robbery in Los Angeles
Even with professional security, Lauren suffered her most serious robbery during a three-week trip to Los Angeles. While staying in a luxury Airbnb, she and her team went out for dinner for around 90 minutes. When they returned, windows had been smashed and the property ransacked.
"From probably just me alone, it was about 100 grand worth of valuables that they stole," she said. "They took all my Louis Vuitton bags, all my expensive shoes, and jewellery. It was a lot." Her passport was also taken, leaving her temporarily stranded. She recalled barricading herself in the master bedroom while her close-protection officer waited nearby. The robbery meant she could not travel directly to Qatar for a Misfits event until she received a replacement passport.
Attempted break-in at home
Lauren later experienced another robbery in Marbella and an attempted break-in at her home in England, which she describes as perhaps the "creepiest" of them all. Two months after she moved in, two masked men dressed in black entered while her brother and manager were inside. Police believed the men may have been watching the property before she left.
"As soon as we left, within like five minutes or maybe 10 minutes, they broke in through the only window in the house that hasn't got an alarm system," she said. The intruders brought their own ladder and seemed to know their way around. Her brother saw one of them on CCTV before they fled, leaving the designer handbags untouched.
The psychological impact lasted far longer. "I'd sit in my car for like an hour and wait for someone else to get home because I was too scared of getting out of the car," she said. Her home is now protected by extensive security, cameras, and three large dogs—two Rottweilers and a German Shepherd—while she continues to use close protection when she believes an event or appearance requires it.
