The woman is believed to have made around 17 withdrawals during this period. Neither the precise total nor how she obtained the cards has been clarified by officials, although German authorities are appealing for any information related to the woman in the photo.

Previous Similar Appeals

Berlin police have used similar strategies before. In March this year, CCTV allegedly showed a glamorous woman at a petrol station who they accused of luring a teenager to an apartment where he was violently assaulted and robbed. CCTV stills released by Berlin police showed the woman with straight, bleach-blonde hair, a large cream coat, and a small brown handbag. It is unknown exactly what the woman's alleged involvement was. According to a report by German news outlet BILD, she spoke to the 18-year-old via Snapchat before he was allegedly tricked into going to an apartment where he was brutally attacked by five people. The teen was then allegedly beaten, sprayed with an unidentified liquid, and robbed. The attack also left him unconscious, according to local reports.
