Police have launched an investigation after racist graffiti was sprayed on a beach shelter at Parrog Beach in Newport, Pembrokeshire. The incident was reported as criminal damage, with the graffiti discovered on the shelter at the popular beach.
Timing of the Incident
The damage is believed to have occurred on either Friday, August 7, or Saturday, August 8. Police were informed of the incident and have since issued an appeal for information.
Police Response
A police spokesperson said: "We do not condone racist or hateful behaviour in our force area, and there is no place for it in our community." The spokesperson added: "Police are now appealing for anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area or anyone with information that could help with our investigation to contact us."
