Greater Manchester Police have released an image of a man they believe can assist with an investigation into a serious assault in Ashton-in-Makerfield.
What happened
The incident occurred at around 1am on Sunday, June 7, on Gerrard Street. The victim was seriously assaulted while on a night out, police said.
Appeal for information
Officers launched an investigation and shared an appeal on social media on July 29. Anyone who recognises the man or has information is urged to contact police.
A GMP spokesperson said: "#APPEAL | We would like to speak to this man as we believe he can help with our investigation into a serious assault that happened on a night out in June. It was reported that the incident occurred at around 1am on Sunday 7 June on Gerrard Street, Ashton-in-Makerfield where a victim was seriously assaulted."
