Home Bargains has recalled a children's Toy Story water bottle due to a choking risk. The product, sold by the retailer, presents a hazard because the spout can detach from the lid, creating a small part that may block a child's airway.
The recall affects certain batches of TJ Morris Toy Story water bottles, model 75164, with batch numbers 11449732, 11449736, 11449737, 11449738, 11449742, 11449743, and 11449744. The barcode is 10751640. The bottles, which have a blue body and red lid, decorated with Toy Story characters, were sold from May 2026 and are of Chinese origin.
Warning and instructions
The Office for Product Safety and Standards said: "The product presents a choking hazard because the spout can detach from the lid, creating a small part. If this occurs during use, the spout may block a child’s airway and cause them to choke." The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
Customers who have purchased the affected bottles are urged to stop using them immediately and keep them out of reach of young children. They should return the product to any Home Bargains store for a refund. For questions or more information, shoppers can access the Home Bargains Help Centre.
Retailer's statement
Home Bargains explained that the bottles have been recalled "due to identification of a potential choking hazard, due to risk of the spout detaching from the lid." The retailer adds: "If you have bought Toy Story Water Bottle as detailed above do not use it."
Only the batch numbers listed are in scope of the recall. This warning follows a separate alert earlier this week about a batch of crisps sold by Home Bargains that could pose an allergy risk.
