A county lines drug dealer who led police on a 100mph chase on the M6 before throwing drugs from his car window has been jailed for six-and-a-half years.
Kierell Woollery, 23, from Oldbury, was caught on dash-cam footage discarding the drugs from a stolen Ford Fiesta with false plates on October 13, 2017. The motorway was closed between junctions 14 and 15 near Stone as the car reached speeds of up to 100mph on the hard shoulder.
Woollery pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine after being found with 13.23g of crack cocaine. He was sentenced at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on January 24.
County lines is a tactic used by gangs from cities like London, Liverpool and Birmingham to introduce untraceable phones to other areas to sell drugs at street level, often using local runners to transport the drugs.
