A hapless drug dealer in South Yorkshire found himself in police custody after making an ill-advised 999 call to report his own stolen cannabis stash.
Officers were stunned when the man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, called emergency services to complain about the theft of his illegal drugs. Upon arrival, police quickly realised the irony of the situation and arrested him on the spot.
