Jessica Share, a woman from the American Midwest, bought sperm from a sperm bank in 2005 to start a family with her then-girlfriend. She never imagined that more than a decade later she would meet the donor and feel a strong attraction to him.
Share and her partner chose an anonymous donor who matched her partner's description: average height and weight, studied literature, had wavy brown hair, and liked sports. The donor listed his profession as a writer, musician, and taxi driver. They received minimal information and no photo.
Share became pregnant with their first daughter after seven months of trying. The couple later used the same donor to conceive a second daughter, born when the first was 18 months old. Both girls shared traits like tall stature, long thin mouths, small noses, and green eyes.
However, when the girls were one and three years old, Share's wife ended their relationship, leaving Share shocked and heartbroken. Years later, Share met the sperm donor and felt a strong attraction, leading to a complex emotional situation.
