Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill has launched a legal bid to have his ex-wife, Keeta Vaccaro, barred from their scheduled timesharing visits with their young daughter. The NFL star's legal team filed a motion in a Florida family court, alleging Vaccaro misuses the visitation periods.
Allegations of 'Selfish' Motives During Visitation
In documents obtained by outlets, Hill's attorney, Gary Frederick Jr., claims Vaccaro exploits her time with the footballer for her own ends. The filing asserts she attempts to discuss reconciling their marriage and makes requests for additional money during these meetings.
The motion states these actions "significantly interfere" with Hill's quality time with his daughter and place him in an "uncomfortable position." As a proposed solution, Hill requests that his grandmother supervise the visits instead of Vaccaro.
Ex-Wife's Lawyer Denies Claims, Alleges Coercion and Abuse
Vaccaro's attorney, Evan Marks, provided a robust rebuttal to the Daily Mail, labelling Hill's claims as "lies." Marks stated Vaccaro has no desire to reconcile and is instead pursuing legal action against the player.
Marks referenced eight separate tort counts filed by Vaccaro in September, alleging Hill caused her "physical and emotional injury" to pressure her into signing a post-nuptial agreement without legal counsel. Vaccaro, sister of former NFL safety Kenny Vaccaro, claims abuse during their 17-month marriage, prompting an NFL investigation.
Her lawyer confirmed she is cooperating with that league probe and is awaiting a court ruling on motions for temporary spousal and child support. A jury trial to determine potential damages related to Hill's alleged conduct is anticipated.
Background of Legal and Personal Controversies
The 31-year-old Hill has denied abusing Vaccaro. His history includes a guilty plea in 2014 for striking his then-pregnant girlfriend, though he later denied the incident in a recorded 2019 conversation.
He was suspended by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2019 during a child-abuse investigation involving his son, though no charges were filed. He later received a lucrative contract extension before being traded to the Dolphins.
Vaccaro initiated divorce proceedings in April 2025. The couple had married in November 2023, shortly after another woman gave birth to Hill's son. Hill is reported to have at least seven children. The next hearing in the contentious family court case is scheduled for February.
