Woman stabbed roommate 93 times, called murder 'so arousing'

Romanian national Roxana H, 30, was strangled with a chain and stabbed 93 times by her roommate Simona B at a highway rest stop in Saarland, Germany. The killer later described the brutal murder as 'so arousing' in a message to a friend.

Details of the killing

Roxana's body was discovered by investigators in a wooded area near the motorway rest stop, which according to reports has long been known as a location for casual sex. Simona B, described as having a mohawk and sharp, pointed teeth, was arrested at a popular swingers club. Prosecutors accused Simona of getting an 'orgiastic feeling while killing'.

Background of the victim and killer

The pair met while inside a psychiatric hospital in Wiesloch, near the French-German border, and bonded over their shared experience of being born in Romania and adopted by foster parents in Saarland. Roxana, who graduated secondary school and trained as a nurse, struggled with mental health issues for most of her life.

Victim's mother speaks out

Roxana's adoptive mother told BILD that her daughter 'just wanted to be loved' and that sadomasochistic practices were foreign to her. She regretted not letting Roxana stay overnight that weekend, as she needed time alone after her own mother's death.

Defense and sentencing

The defense attorney argued the death was caused by a 'loss of impulse control' and described it as a 'sex accident', but this account was rejected. Simona B was sentenced to life in prison for the murder.
