Counter Terrorism Policing London has arrested a 42-year-old woman and a 60-year-old man at addresses in London on suspicion of assisting Iran's intelligence service, the Metropolitan Police said.
Investigation into National Security Act offences
The arrests were made as part of an investigation into suspected offences under the National Security Act (NSA). Officers from Counter Terrorism Policing London carried out the arrests.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed the arrests but provided no further details at this stage.
