Two individuals have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the fatal stabbing of a 22-year-old man in west London last week. The suspects, a man and a woman both aged 21, were detained on the morning of Sunday, July 5, and remain in police custody.
Details of the Incident
Officers from the Metropolitan Police were called to reports of a stabbing at the junction of Bath Road and Great Southwest Road in Hounslow at 1:47 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30. Upon arrival, police and paramedics found Haruun Hassan, 22, who lived nearby, suffering from critical injuries. Despite the efforts of the London Ambulance Service, Haruun was pronounced dead at the scene. His family is being supported by specialist officers.
Investigation and Appeal
Detective Chief Inspector Paul Waller, leading the investigation, stated: “Our thoughts remain with Haruun’s family during this very difficult time. Our investigation is progressing and we have made two arrests, with those people now in custody. We continue to ask any witnesses or anyone with information about what happened to Haruun that night to please contact us as soon as possible.”
