Laura Gallacher was rushed out of the courtroom during Russell Brand's rape and sexual assault trial at Southwark Crown Court, where the couple arrived hand-in-hand as the jury continued its deliberations.
Brand denies all seven criminal charges, including three counts of rape, three counts of sexual assault, and one count of attempted indecent assault. The jury of eight men and four women is continuing its deliberations.
Gallacher's evidence in defence
Earlier in the proceedings, Gallacher gave evidence in defence of her husband, describing him as "caring," "kind," and a wonderful father. Jurors were told that the pair started dating in 2007 but broke up during the summer that year, with Gallacher telling the court she was "very aware" of his promiscuity.
The couple reunited in 2015, married in 2017, and now share three children, the court heard.
Courtroom incident
During her time in court, Gallacher had to be taken out of the room after an "inadmissible question" from Brand's barrister, Ian Winter KC. He asked her about her view on the truth of the allegations, which led Judge Joel Bennathan to interject, saying, "No, no, no," as prosecutor Riel Karmy-Jones KC called the question "unacceptable."
Who is Laura Gallacher?

Relationship history
Gallacher met Brand in 2006 when she was 19 and he was 31, before separating in 2007 and rekindling their romance in 2015. After rekindling their romance, Gallacher told the Made by Mammas podcast in 2020 that she "knew it would be different this time."
She also told You: "You have to rebuild your foundations and trust again, we did it the right way. It was very slow, it was getting to know each other and going out on day trips together."
"I remember him saying: 'I think I want a quiet life and a family,' and it was exactly what I wanted. So, then it was about seeing if we could build a foundation to make that happen."
The couple tied the knot in August 2017, marrying in a church ceremony near their home in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire.
