Cleveland Police have released an image of a man they wish to question in connection with the alleged rape of a woman. Thomas Renfree, 45, is thought to have connections in Northumberland and officers are looking to trace his whereabouts.
Appeal for information
A spokesperson said: "We are appealing to trace Thomas Renfree as officers would like to speak to him in connection with the rape of a woman that is reported to have taken place on Thursday, July 30, 2026. The 45-year-old man has links to Cramlington and Blyth in Northumberland."
He is described as white, 5ft 7ins tall with short brown/blonde spiky hair and of a medium build. His eyes are hazel and he speaks with a North East accent and has a tattoo on his left bicep.
