Greater Manchester Police have launched a murder investigation in Bolton after a 75-year-old man was found dead at a property on Ormrod Street. Officers were called to the scene at around 8am on Friday, July 17, where they discovered the victim inside the property.
Arrest Made in Connection with Death
A 49-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remained in custody on Saturday as detectives questioned her. Police have confirmed that the victim's next of kin has been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers.

Greater Manchester Police stated that officers are 'continuing to pursue multiple lines of enquiry to establish the full circumstances' surrounding the death. Forensic teams and detectives remain at the scene on Ormrod Street as the investigation continues. No further details about the victim or the arrested woman have been released at this stage.
