Police have released the first picture of a 34-year-old man who was found dead in a suitcase on Friday, July 10. The victim has been identified as Dale Mundell, from Islington.
Discovery and Investigation
Officers were first called to Kingfisher Court in Wimbledon at around 10.55pm on Thursday July 9. No one was found at the property, but police believed that someone had come to harm at the address and an investigation was launched. The following day, officers attended a wooded area in Borstal, Kent, where a body was found — more than 30 miles away from the initial scene.
Arrests and Charges
On July 10, two men were arrested in connection with Mr Mundell's death. On Saturday July 11, Joshua Miller, 32, was charged with murder and preventing a lawful burial, and Jamie Cooper, 27, was charged with preventing a lawful burial. Both men appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court on Monday July 13 and have been remanded into custody.
Police have confirmed that Mr Mundell and the two men charged were known to each other.

Mr Mundell's family is being supported by specialist officers, and they have requested privacy at this time. The investigation continues as authorities work to establish the full circumstances surrounding his death.
