Man Charged with Murder After West London Stabbing

Daniel Sean James, 44, has been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of a young mother in west London. The incident occurred at a property on Uxbridge Road in Hayes at around 7:55 am on Sunday, July 12.

Victim Identified as Kirandeep Kaur

Police were called to the scene and found 24-year-old Kirandeep Kaur with stab wounds. Despite efforts from emergency services, she was pronounced dead at the scene. A second victim, a man in his 20s, was discovered outside the property with stab injuries and remains in hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Scene Cordoned Off for Investigation

A large area on the high street was cordoned off on Sunday afternoon, with a forensic tent set up and a dozen police officers present. Detective Chief Inspector Allam Bhangoo described the incident as "shocking" and expressed thoughts for the victims and their families, who are being supported by specialist officers.

Charges Filed

Daniel Sean James was charged on Monday, July 13 with murder, attempted murder, and possession of a bladed article. He appeared before Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
