A 26-year-old man from Afghanistan has been charged with the killing of Elisabeth Jane Ross, a 38-year-old Scottish woman known as Lisa, after her body was found in a suitcase in Athens.

Ms Ross was found dead inside a suitcase by a homeless man in an abandoned building in the Kypseli district on Saturday, July 18. Greek police subsequently confirmed the arrest and charge of the suspect in connection with her death.
Local media reports indicate he faces charges of intentional homicide, robbery and weapons offences.
