Finley Brookman, a 21-year-old footballer from Ystalyfera, Neath Port Talbot, was found dead in woodland, an inquest has heard. The hearing at Pontypridd Coroner's Court on July 10 was told that he died on June 28. Assistant coroner Andrew Morse confirmed that the results of a post-mortem examination are pending. He opened and adjourned the inquest to a date to be set, extending his sympathy to the young man's family and friends. Finley was due to turn 22 in August.
