Two Arrested at Pitbull Concert After Police Assault

Two people were arrested at Bellahouston Park during Pitbull's Summer Sessions concert on Wednesday night, July 1, Police Scotland has confirmed.

Arrests Made for Assault and Threatening Behaviour

A 27-year-old man was arrested in connection with alleged threatening and abusive behaviour and the alleged assault of a police officer. A 21-year-old woman was also arrested in connection with alleged assault and threatening and abusive behaviour. Both are due to be reported to the Procurator Fiscal, reports GlasgowLive.

Additional Penalties Issued

Elsewhere, a woman was issued with a Recorded Police Warning for assault, while two men received Fixed Penalty Notices. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "On Wednesday, 1 July, 2026, two people were arrested at Bellahouston Park, Glasgow. A 27-year-old man was arrested in connection with threatening and abusive behaviour and police assault and will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal. A 21-year-old woman was arrested in connection with assault and threatening and abusive behaviour and will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal. A man will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal for threatening and abusive behaviour and police assault. One woman received a Recorded Police Warning for assault and two men were issued Fixed Penalty Notices."
