Correction: Mark Adderley Error in Nadia Sawalha Article
Correction: Mark Adderley Error in Sawalha Article

On 8 May 2026, the Daily Star published an online article titled “Nadia Sawalha ‘dropped’ from Loose Women over ‘unhinged’ conspiracy theories.” The article contained an error regarding Mr Mark Adderley, Ms Sawalha’s husband.

Incorrect Allegations

The article erroneously stated that Mr Adderley was suspended from the Green Party having been “accused of sharing videos celebrating the ‘courage’ of Hamas and conspiracy theories blaming Jews for the September 11 attacks.”

Correction

In fact, it was a different Green Party councillor who was accused of sharing such videos, not Mr Adderley. Mr Adderley was suspended from the Green Party following complaints about some of his views in relation to Israel, but the specific allegations about Hamas and 9/11 conspiracy theories were incorrectly attributed to him.

Clarification

The Daily Star is happy to set the record straight. For the avoidance of doubt, the publication did not and does not suggest that Ms Sawalha was in any way associated with or connected to the allegations that were erroneously attributed to her husband.
