Russell Brand, who has been found guilty of one count of rape and three counts of sexual assault, previously described a fantasy about Dame Helen Mirren in his 2011 memoir, writing that the scenario made him "aroused".
The 51-year-old appeared alongside the 81-year-old actress in two films. In Booky Wook 2: This Time It's Personal, the follow-up to his 2007 memoir, Brand detailed his sobriety, rise to global fame, stand-up performances and film work.
Fantasy described in memoir
In one chapter, he wrote about a fantasy involving Dame Helen, whom he described as a generation older but said had "traded none of her sexual allure". He imagined her giving him a bath that begins as functional but becomes "a bit confusing", with the catalyst being "the necessary soaping of my unmentionables".
Brand went on to envisage the actress "vigorously setting about my prize-winning privates", adding: "We tumble into a bubbly wonderland, all squeals and half-hearted admonishments, till thighs part and eyes roll."
Conviction and sentencing
The book was published in 2011, while Brand was still married to Katy Perry. The couple divorced in 2012 after two years of marriage. He has been married to his second wife, Laura Brand, since 2017.
Following a three-week trial, Brand was cleared of two counts of rape and one count of attempted indecent assault. He is due back in court on Monday morning to receive his sentence, having been warned he faces a "significant custodial term".
The Metropolitan Police has separately confirmed to Sky News that it is investigating additional rape allegations brought against him by two other women.
