Bolton Woman Charged with Murder of Pensioner

Samantha Nuttall, a 49-year-old woman from Bolton, has been charged with murder following the death of a 75-year-old man at a flat block in the town. The incident occurred at Hargreaves House, off Ormrod Street, where emergency services were called at around 8am on Friday, July 17.

Police Investigation and Charges

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) launched a murder investigation after the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Forensic officers were seen gathering evidence outside the flat block on Saturday. In an update on Sunday, a GMP spokesperson confirmed that Samantha Nuttall, of Bradford Street, Bolton, had been charged with murder.

Court Appearance

Nuttall has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court on Monday. The investigation continues as police work to establish the full circumstances surrounding the man's death.
