A body has been discovered during the search for a man who went missing on the Isle of Lewis. Police Scotland reported that the body of a man was recovered from the water in the Lochs area of the island shortly before 1 PM on Thursday, June 18.
Formal identification has not yet been carried out, but the family of the missing individual, Andrew Yearley, has been notified of the development.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland stated: "Emergency services attended the scene and the body was recovered. Formal identification is pending, however, Andrew Yearley's family has been informed."
The spokesperson added: "The death is being treated as unexplained, but there are no indications of suspicious circumstances. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course."
