Georgia Harrison has spoken out after Stephen Bear was sent back to prison for 16 months for breaching a restraining order that barred him from posting about her online. The sentence was handed down at Chelmsford Crown Court on August 6, and Bear was taken into immediate custody.
Bear's sentence and new order
The disgraced reality TV star, 36, must serve at least eight months behind bars before he can be released. The court also imposed a fresh indefinite restraining order preventing him from contacting Harrison. The original order came in 2023, after Bear shared a video of himself having sex with Harrison on OnlyFans and WhatsApp without her consent.
Despite the order, Bear posted about Harrison several times in 2025 while she was pregnant. Judge Christopher Morgan, who presided over the original trial, said the posts were designed "to ensure the maximum harm [was] caused to Georgia Harrison." He added: "You knew all of that was untrue, and yet you posted it. You left Miss Harrison, I'm afraid, at the mercy of any individual who had aligned themselves with your lies."
Harrison's statement
Following the hearing, Harrison praised Essex Police for their handling of the case. In a statement shared by the police, she said: "Essex Police took me seriously when so many women in my position are overlooked. They treated this as the serious crime it is - not a celebrity story. It is a real offence against a real person. They built the case properly, they stayed with it, and when the order was breached, they acted instead of shrugging. From the messages I get every day, I know how rare that still is. If every force treated this the way Essex Police did, thousands of women would feel safer today."
Harrison, who won an MBE for her activism against revenge porn, testified in court that Bear's online activity left her feeling "petrified" and fearing for her safety. After his release from prison in early 2024, Bear had launched a social media campaign accusing Harrison of being part of a conspiracy against him, with some posts viewed millions of times and including defamatory statements about her.
