A 16-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a woman in her 60s remains in custody, Greater Manchester Police have confirmed. The victim has been named as Ann Teague, who was pronounced dead at the scene on Ivylea Road in Burnage on Wednesday, July 8, after an alleged assault.
Police Response and Investigation
Officers from Greater Manchester Police, along with paramedics, were called to the address at around 8am following reports of an assault. Despite their efforts, the woman was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The teenager was later arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody for questioning as of Friday.
