Drivers have been warned over a series of road closures in and around Wishaw.
Wilson Road closure
Wilson Road in Allanton will be closed from August 17 to 21 for carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out.
Vehicular and pedestrian access will be permitted where practical during the closure.
Vehicles on the east side of the closure wishing access to Springhead Road should travel via Kingshill Road and Coltness Avenue to Springhead Road. Vehicles on Springhead Road wishing access to the east side of the closure on Kingshill Road should proceed vice versa.
Vehicles on the east side of the closure on Kingshill Road wishing access to the west side of the closure on Wilson Road should travel via Kingshill Road, Coltness Avenue and Hawthorn Place. Vehicles on Wilson Road to the west side of the closure wishing access to the east side of the closure on Kingshill Road should proceed vice versa.
Vehicles on Springhead Road wishing access to the west side of the closure on Wilson Road should travel via Springhead Road, Coltness Avenue and Hawthorn Place. Vehicles on Wilson Road to the west side of the closure wishing access to Springhead Road should proceed vice versa.
Cleland Road restrictions
Meanwhile, Cleland Road in Wishaw will have temporary restrictions from Monday, August 25, to Wednesday, September 2, to facilitate Scottish Water Infrastructure Upgrade Works.
Vehicles on the north side of the closure wishing to reach the south side of the closure should travel via Low Main Street, Glen Road, Glenpark Street, Dryburgh Road, A721 Main Street, A721 Glasgow Road then Cleland Road.
Vehicles on the south side of the closure wishing to reach the north side of the closure should travel vice versa.
