A second person has tragically died following a light aircraft crash in Southend, Essex, emergency services have confirmed. The incident occurred earlier today, with air ambulances and fire crews rushing to the scene.
Despite the rapid response, both individuals on board the aircraft succumbed to their injuries. Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims, pending notification of their families.
