Ryanair has announced five new routes from London for summer 2026, expanding its network to include destinations such as Wroclaw in Poland, Forli and Parma in Italy, Malmö in Sweden, and Glasgow, Scotland. The new services will operate from London Stansted Airport.
In addition to the new routes, the budget carrier will increase frequencies on more than 50 existing services from London, including popular holiday spots like Alicante, Barcelona, Faro, Lisbon, Madrid, Malaga, and Malta. This expansion aims to meet continued demand for European travel and offer passengers greater flexibility.
To support the growth, Ryanair will base an additional aircraft at London Stansted, bringing its London fleet to 57 aircraft. This represents a $100 million (£74 million) investment and is expected to create around 30 new jobs, including roles for pilots, cabin crew, and engineers.
Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary said: “Ryanair continues to invest in modest growth in the UK and we are now the UK’s No. 1 passenger airline, with 61 million passengers in 2026. Today we open five new London routes for summer 2026, with frequency increases and one extra aircraft in Stansted.”
The airline is also expanding beyond London, with previously announced routes from Newcastle to destinations including Malta, Budapest, Marrakesh, and Brussels. The latest announcement underscores Ryanair’s ongoing investment in the UK market ahead of the busy summer travel season.
