Severe Delays on the District Line

The District line is currently operating with severe delays between Upminster and Tower Hill due to an earlier incident, TfL has said. Minor delays are operating on the rest of the line. Tickets are being accepted on London Buses, DLR, Elizabeth line, Liberty line, C2C and South Western Railway.

A points failure is blocking some lines between London Paddington and Heathrow Terminals & Reading. The disruption is expected to last until the end of the day, with a number of cancellations and delays. This will affect Great Western Railway trains to and from London Paddington, as well as Heathrow Express services.

Tube and Overground Update

The Circle line is now running in both directions, with severe delays on the whole line. There are also still severe delays on the District and Hammersmith & City lines following the casualty on the tracks at Sloane Square this morning. There are minor delays on the Central line, and both the Windrush and Suffragette lines are still part suspended.

The Suffragette line has now partly reopened following the earlier faulty train at Leyton Midland Road. There is still no service between South Tottenham and Barking Riverside, but the rest of the line is now open with severe delays. London Underground are still accepting tickets via any reasonable route.

There are minor delays on the Jubilee line due to an earlier faulty train at Canary Wharf. The clockwise section of the Circle line has reopened, albeit with severe delays, following the casualty on the tracks at Sloane Square this morning. There is still no service anticlockwise. Tickets are being accepted on London Buses, Thameslink and Elizabeth line.

A shortage of train drivers on the Mildmay line mean that fewer services are able to run today. Some trains operating between Richmond / Clapham Junction and Stratford will be cancelled, and a reduced service will be in operation for the remainder of the day.

There is currently no service on the entire Suffragette line due to a faulty train at Leyton Midland Road. London Underground are accepting tickets via any reasonable route.

Part of the Windrush line is now open, with the section between West Croydon & Highbury & Islington running with severe delays. There is still no service on the line between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction / New Cross and between Sydenham and Crystal Palace following the fire at a waste facility in Deptford overnight. Tickets are being accepted on London Underground.
