Three road closures in the Monklands area will affect motorists next month, with diversion routes provided for each.
Kelso Quadrant closure in Coatbridge
Carriageway resurfacing on behalf of North Lanarkshire Council will shut Coatbridge’s Kelso Quadrant for five days from August 3. The affected section runs between Corsewall Street at its north and south junctions and property 36. Drivers are advised to take Corsewall Street as a diverted route.
Whinhall road closure
Carriageway patching works will close Westermavisbank Street in Whinhall for three days from August 10. The closure extends from the B802 Commonside Street to Whinhall Avenue. Motorists can use the B802 Commonside Street, Wilson Street and Mavisbank Street as diversions.
Airdrie’s Mavisbank Street closure
Finally, Airdrie’s Mavisbank Street will be closed for 24 hours from August 12, from Park Crescent to Manor Drive, for carriageway patching. Alternative routes include Park Crescent, Park Street and Manor Drive.
