A series of upcoming road closures will cause travel disruption in Monklands, with works scheduled from late June to mid-July.
Coatbridge: Renfrew Street Closure
Coatbridge's Renfrew Street will be shut between properties 3 and 7 all day on June 26. This is to allow for carriageway patching. Craigend Drive will act as a diverted route.
Airdrie: Wilson Street Closure
Drainage works will result in a 24-hour closure of Wilson Street in Airdrie from June 30. The affected area will be from Burniebrae to Wester Mavisbank Avenue, with both of those roads and Whinhall Road available as diversions.
Chapelhall: Kirkandrews Place Closure
Kirkandrews Place, Chapelhall, will close all day on July 3 for carriageway patching works. The closure will run between Dalbeattie Braes and its termination at property 25. Drivers are warned there won't be any alternative routes in place.
Chapelhall: Woodhall Street Closure
Finally, carriageway resurfacing will see Chapelhall's Woodhall Street, from Glen Avon Drive to the B799 Lancaster Avenue, close for five days from July 13. Motorists will be able to use the A73 Bellside Road, the A73 Main Street, Lauchope Street and the B799 Lancaster Avenue as diverted routes.
