All Merseyrail services on the Wirral lines are disrupted this morning, Thursday, August 20. The Chester line, West Kirby line and New Brighton line are currently facing disruption with some services cancelled.
There is also disruption being reported on the Ormskirk and Hunts Cross lines.
Cause of the Disruption
Merseyrail said on X the disruption on the Wirral lines is due to a broken down train at Hamilton Square. It said the delays on the Ormskirk and Hunts Cross lines is due to a "delay affecting a train's journey."
