The M6 motorway is closed in Lancashire due to a crash tonight (Monday, August 3).
Full closure between junctions 32 and 33
The northbound carriageway is shut to traffic between Junction 32 and Junction 33. The closure is expected to remain in place for some time.
A Lancashire Police spokesperson said: "Please be aware that there is currently a full closure on the M6 motorway, J32-J33 Northbound due to a Road Traffic Collision."

"The motorway is likely to be closed for an extended period of time whilst we assess the situation. We will keep you updated here when possible, but we would recommend avoiding the area if possible."
