The AA reports severe delays of 49 minutes, with traffic building up on the M56 westbound between Junction 10 (A49 Tarporley Road, Stretton) and Junction 12. Average speeds have fallen to 5mph, causing significant disruption during the ongoing heatwave across England and Wales.
