A lorry fire has blocked a busy stretch of the M25 overnight, with plumes of smoke filling the sky and causing long queues for drivers in the early hours of the morning between junction 26 and 27 on the busy UK motorway.
A spokesperson for National Highways said: "The M25 has been blocked both ways between J27 (Epping) and J26 (Waltham Abbey) due to a lorry fire. Updates to follow."
Traffic cameras show the scale of the fire, with big plumes of smoke visible and queuing traffic behind the vehicle which is ablaze.
