Drivers on the M25 clockwise are facing major delays following a serious traffic collision between Junction 24 for Potters Bar and Junction 25 for Waltham Cross. Emergency services are on scene, and two of the four lanes remain closed.

National Highways reported the closure of lanes three and four on the M25 clockwise due to the crash. In a statement on social media, they said: "Lanes 3 & 4 (of 4) are closed on the #M25 clockwise between J24 #PottersBar and J25 #WalthamCross due to a traffic collision. Vehicle recovery is being arranged."

Impact on Traffic

As a result of the incident, drivers are experiencing delays of approximately 45 minutes on the approach, with around four miles of congestion building up. National Highways advised motorists to allow extra time for their journeys and consider alternative routes where possible.
