Gridlock on M25 After Crash Causes Long Delays in Surrey
M25 Crash Causes 33-Minute Delays Near Junction 12

Drivers are facing significant delays on the UK’s busiest motorway after a crash in Surrey on Friday evening. A slip road from the M25 at junction J12 has been fully closed following a collision on the clockwise link road onto the M3.

Traffic Chaos During Weekend Getaways

The incident occurred at approximately 6.30pm, causing traffic to build up rapidly. National Highways reported delays in excess of 33 minutes on the approach, with 3 miles of congestion. Tailbacks are extending towards J10 for the A3, and traffic is also moving slowly in the opposite direction near the crash scene.

Affected Route and Clearing Time

The closed slip road is a key artery for drivers exiting the M25 clockwise to reach attractions such as Thorpe Park and Thorpe Lakes. National Highways has warned that the scene may not be cleared until 9.45pm.
