Man Dies in M20 Crash Involving Car and Two Lorries

A man in his 30s has died following a multi-vehicle crash on the M20 in Kent this morning. The collision occurred on the London-bound carriageway between junctions 9 and 8 at Lenham, involving a white Mercedes lorry, a black Nissan Qashqai, and a white Scania articulated lorry.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 8.27am. The driver of the Nissan, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin has been informed. The driver of the Mercedes lorry was airlifted to a London hospital with serious injuries.

The London-bound carriageway remains closed and is expected to remain shut for several hours. The coast-bound carriageway was temporarily closed to allow the air ambulance to land but has since reopened. A diversion is in place via the A20.
