A Halloween outing transformed into a genuine emergency when a walker dressed in costume required urgent mountain rescue assistance on the slopes above Bangor, North Wales.

On Tuesday evening, what began as festive fun quickly escalated into a serious situation as darkness fell across the Welsh mountains. The individual, whose specific costume remains undisclosed, found themselves in difficulty while walking in the picturesque yet challenging terrain near Bangor.
Multi-Agency Emergency Response
Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Organisation sprang into action following an emergency call at approximately 5:15 PM. The team deployed approximately 15 highly trained volunteers to locate and assist the stranded walker.
The rescue operation involved:

- An air ambulance for potential medical evacuation
- Coastguard helicopter support from Caernarfon
Challenging Conditions and Successful Outcome
