EasyJet Launches Massive Winter 2027 Sale with Over 12 Million Seats
EasyJet's Huge Winter 2027 Sale: 12 Million Seats Released

EasyJet has initiated a substantial sale event for its winter 2027 schedule, making more than 12 million seats available across nearly 70,000 flights. This significant release, announced on Tuesday, offers forward-thinking travellers the opportunity to secure their winter getaways well in advance.

Extensive Travel Options Across Europe and Beyond

The released EasyJet flights are scheduled for travel between 1 February and 21 March 2027, departing from 22 UK airports to 140 destinations. Winter sun favourites such as the Canary Islands, Egypt, Morocco, Spain, and Tunisia are prominently featured in this budget airline's "Big Seat Release." Additionally, February half-term city breaks and ski holidays are now on sale, catering to a variety of holiday preferences.

Package Deals and Family-Friendly Offers

EasyJet Holidays is enhancing the sale with attractive package deals that include free kids' places at selected family-friendly hotels. These packages bundle flights, accommodation, 23kg luggage, and transfers, providing comprehensive holiday solutions for families looking to plan ahead.

Executive Insights on the Sale

Kevin Doyle, UK country manager for EasyJet, commented on the launch, stating, "Putting millions more seats and package holidays on sale today for next winter means our customers across the UK can book early and enjoy great value to Europe's most popular leisure destinations, including firm favourites such as Amsterdam, Paris, Alicante, Tenerife, and Malaga." He added, "With hundreds of routes available from 22 UK airports, our short-haul network offers unrivalled choice for those planning their holidays for next year, to book with ease, and we can't wait to welcome them on board."

Future Cabin Upgrades with Enhanced Legroom

In related news, EasyJet is set to introduce new seat installations that will provide passengers with up to two inches of additional legroom, although there is a notable catch. The airline has placed an order with British manufacturer Mirus for its Kestrel seats, which will be fitted across 237 new aircraft starting in 2028.

Design Innovations for Passenger Comfort

Despite the distance between seat rows, known as the pitch, remaining unchanged, EasyJet confirmed that the new seat design will create more space. Mirus explained that the seats' unique shape and reduced thickness facilitate this improvement. By positioning the occupant's hips and spine further back, the design effectively generates extra legroom. The seats also feature a "fixed recline" of 22 degrees and cannot be manually reclined, ensuring a consistent seating experience for all passengers.
