EasyJet Warns Passengers from London Gatwick and Manchester of Key Terminal Changes
EasyJet Terminal Changes at London Gatwick and Manchester

EasyJet has issued a reminder to passengers flying from London Gatwick and Manchester airports about significant terminal changes that could affect their travel plans. The budget airline operates 114 flights from Gatwick to destinations including Amsterdam, Barcelona, Budapest, Crete, Ibiza, Gran Canaria, Paris, Prague, and Santorini, as well as 20 destinations from Manchester such as Alicante, Athens, Bordeaux, Copenhagen, and Corfu. With the summer holidays and May half-term approaching, airports are expected to be busier than ever.

Terminal Changes at London Gatwick

From 29 March 2026 onwards, all easyJet flights at London Gatwick Airport will operate exclusively from the North Terminal for both departures and arrivals. The North Terminal is accessible via a free inter-terminal shuttle that runs 24/7, taking just 2-3 minutes from the South Terminal. This change may affect parking and drop-off locations, so passengers are advised to plan accordingly.

Terminal Changes at Manchester Airport

Similarly, from 19 November 2025, all easyJet flights at Manchester Airport will operate from Terminal 2 for both departures and arrivals. This move is part of Manchester Airport’s project to upgrade facilities and enhance the travel experience. Passengers are advised to allow extra time to get used to the new terminal and follow airport signage on the day.

Additional Travel Advice

EasyJet has also warned about potential delays due to the full rollout of the European Union’s Entry/Exit System (EES), which may cause longer queues at passport control across European airports. Passengers may need to provide biometrics, including facial and fingerprint scans. To minimize disruption, the airline recommends dropping off bags as soon as check-in opens, proceeding through security early, and heading to the gate as soon as it is announced. Travellers should ensure they have all necessary documents, though British citizens do not need to take action before arriving at the border. Longer queues are also expected at arrival airports.
