Two Delta Air Lines planes collided on a taxiway at LaGuardia Airport in New York on Wednesday night, according to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. The incident occurred just before 10 pm Eastern Time between Endeavor Air Flight 5047, arriving from Charlotte, North Carolina, and Endeavor Flight 5155, scheduled to depart for Roanoke, Virginia.

A flight attendant sustained a knee injury and was taken to hospital after being treated at the scene, the Port Authority said. The pilot of Flight 5047 radioed the ground controller, stating, 'We have two CRJs on taxiway M that collided. Their right wing clipped our nose and the cockpit wind screens.'

There were 32 people on board Flight 5155, including 28 passengers and four crew members, while Flight 5047 carried 61 people, including 57 passengers and four crew members. Delta confirmed the 'low-speed collision' and said it would work with authorities to review the incident.
