Fforchaman Road in Cwmaman, Cynon Valley, will be closed for most of Sunday, August 2, to allow for the installation of overhead fibre cabling.
Closure details
The closure will run from 9:30am to 3:30pm and will affect a 150-metre stretch from the south-western arm of its roundabout junction with Station Terrace, heading south-west.
The work is required to give access to telegraph poles for the fibre cable installation.

Alternative route
Motorists are advised to use the diversion via Station Terrace, Treneol, Milton Street, Prospect Place, Mountain Road and Fforchaman Road.
Access for pedestrians, emergency services and to premises will be maintained throughout the closure.
