Major Rochdale Road Sealed Off Following Serious Incident
A significant police incident has led to the complete closure of the Rochdale Bypass, a key route in Greater Manchester. Emergency services, including an air ambulance, were scrambled to the A664 on the afternoon of 12 November 2025.

The closure of the Rochdale Bypass, also known as Albert Royds Street, has caused significant travel chaos. According to the live traffic service Inrix, drivers are experiencing 'very slow traffic' in the area.
