The outbound service will depart from Dublin Airport at 1:50 PM local time, arriving at Barbados' Grantley Adams International Airport at 6:00 PM. Return flights will leave Bridgetown at 7:30 PM, touching back down in Dublin at 8:40 AM the following morning. This schedule optimises travel times for both business and leisure passengers. Aer Lingus will operate the route using its state-of-the-art, fuel-efficient Airbus A321XLR aircraft, reflecting the airline's commitment to modern, environmentally conscious aviation.

This new Dublin-Barbados service comes amid broader changes to Aer Lingus' long-haul network. The airline recently announced it will discontinue all long-haul flights from Manchester Airport, effective March 31, 2026. Specific routes affected include Manchester to New York (ending February 23, 2026), Orlando, and Barbados. To assist customers impacted by these cancellations, Aer Lingus will operate a temporary service from Dublin to Barbados from April to May 2026, ensuring continuity for travellers.
The airline acknowledged that this news is 'disappointing' and apologised for any disruption. In an official statement, Aer Lingus confirmed, 'All impacted customers are being informed of the cancellation of flights directly and provided with reaccommodation and refund options.' They assured customers that flights between Manchester and Ireland operated by Aer Lingus or its regional partner, Emerald Airlines, will remain unaffected.
