Jet2 Confirms Four New Destinations for 2027

Jet2 has confirmed it will launch flights to four brand new destinations in 2027 as part of its continued growth strategy. The budget airline announced plans to expand its North Africa programme with year-round flights to Hurghada and Sharm-El-Sheik in Egypt starting February 2027. This will be followed by flights to Tunisia from May 2027 and later to the Greek island of Thassos in summer 2027.

New Routes for Summer 2026

The new routes follow the introduction of three new destinations for summer 2026: the Greek island of Samos, Palermo in Sicily, and La Palma in Spain's Canary Islands. Jet2 announced these additions while publishing its preliminary results for the year ended March 31, 2026, which outlined plans for continued growth and investment.

Expansion Across UK Airports

Jet2 has expanded its UK footprint by launching operations at London Luton and Gatwick airports this year. The airline now operates from 14 UK airport bases: Belfast International, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool John Lennon, London Gatwick, London Luton, London Stansted, Manchester, and Newcastle. The airline described its expansion to the south of England as "a pivotal moment" in its growth, allowing it to advance beyond its established Northern roots and strengthen its position as "a truly national consumer brand."
